Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ocean mobile application (the “App”), operated by Crystal Dating, Inc. (“Crystal Dating,” “Ocean,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

1. Eligibility

Ocean is intended for use only by individuals who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. You represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.

We may terminate or delete accounts that we believe belong to users under 18.

2. Accounts

Each account is intended for use by an individual. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or our Code of Conduct.

3. Code of Conduct

Use of the App is subject to our Code of Conduct, which you must separately agree to during account creation. The Code of Conduct forms part of these Terms and governs acceptable behavior on and in connection with the App.

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the App, without notice.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the content you submit, post, or share through the App, including profile information, photos, and messages (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, process, and distribute such content as necessary to operate and improve the App.

5. Messaging and Interactions

The App allows users to communicate through private messages. Messages are not encrypted end-to-end, and you understand that communications may be reviewed if reported.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline. We do not conduct background checks and do not guarantee the behavior, intentions, or identity of users.

6. Matching and AI Features

Ocean uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to generate compatibility scores, explanations, and to determine which profiles are shown to users.

We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, or outcomes. Matching results are subjective and may differ between users.

7. Paid Features

The App may offer paid features or subscriptions now or in the future. Pricing, billing terms, and cancellation policies will be disclosed at the time of purchase and are subject to applicable app store rules.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any lawful reason, including violations of these Terms or the Code of Conduct.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results from use of the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crystal Dating, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
