Child Safety Standards

Our commitment to protecting minors and preventing exploitation

Last updated: March 2026

Crystal Dating, Inc. ("Ocean") is committed to maintaining a safe platform that protects minors and prevents child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This document outlines our policies, technical safeguards, and enforcement mechanisms to prevent the presence of minors on our platform and the sharing of illegal content.

1. Age Verification and Eligibility

Minimum Age Requirement

Ocean is exclusively for adults 18 years of age and older. All users must provide their date of birth during account registration. Accounts cannot be created by individuals under 18 years of age.

Age Verification Process

  • Date of birth is required during sign-up and validated against the minimum age requirement
  • Users who do not meet the age requirement are prevented from creating an account
  • Age verification is mandatory and cannot be bypassed

Terms of Service Violation

Being under 18 years of age is a direct violation of our Terms of Service. Any accounts found to belong to minors will be immediately terminated and permanently deleted.

2. User Reporting Mechanisms

We empower our community to help maintain platform safety through comprehensive reporting tools.

Report Suspected Minors

Users can report other users whom they suspect may be under 18 years of age. All reports are reviewed by our safety team, and appropriate action is taken, including account investigation, suspension, and permanent removal.

Report Review Process

  • All reports of suspected minors are reviewed promptly by trained moderators
  • Reported accounts may be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • Confirmed violations result in permanent account deletion
  • Repeat violators and those attempting to circumvent age restrictions are permanently banned

3. Content Moderation and Safety Controls

Profile Image Moderation

Users can upload images to their profile. To prevent the sharing of explicit or inappropriate content:

  • All uploaded images are automatically scanned using AI-powered nudity detection technology
  • Images containing nudity or sexually explicit content are automatically rejected and deleted
  • Images are scanned before being made visible to other users
  • Users who repeatedly attempt to upload prohibited content may have their accounts suspended or terminated

Messaging Restrictions

To prevent the sharing of explicit or illegal content through private communications:

  • Users can message other matched users through text-based messaging
  • Image sharing is not permitted in messages, eliminating a common vector for CSAE material
  • Messages may be reviewed by our moderation team if reported by users

4. Enforcement and Cooperation

Zero Tolerance Policy

Ocean maintains a zero-tolerance policy for child exploitation, abuse, or the presence of minors on our platform. Violations result in:

  • Immediate and permanent account termination
  • Deletion of all user data associated with the account
  • Permanent ban preventing future account creation

Law Enforcement Cooperation

We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation and abuse. We comply with all applicable legal requirements, including:

  • Reporting suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law
  • Preserving evidence and providing information to law enforcement pursuant to valid legal requests
  • Working with authorities to identify and prosecute offenders

5. Ongoing Safety Improvements

We continuously evaluate and improve our safety measures to better protect our community and prevent exploitation. This includes:

  • Regular review and enhancement of our content moderation systems
  • Updates to detection algorithms to identify prohibited content and behavior
  • Training for moderation teams on emerging threats and best practices
  • Collaboration with industry partners and safety organizations
